Transitions Study Skills Seminar has been developed specifically for gifted students who are making the transition to secondary school. This seminar is designed to assist students who are taking the next step in their education journey. Transitions is for students who need to develop effective study skills, personal characteristics and organisational habits that will enable them to progress through school and achieve academic results that demonstrate their abilities.

Focused upon the developmental stage and needs of students in their first two years of secondary school, the Transitions Study Skills Seminar is for students who want to be prepared to make an effective transition to the next stage of education. Participation in Transitions is also appropriate for those who have already moved up to secondary school but have not yet mastered the skills necessary to make a steady, successful ascent through secondary academic requirements.

Michele Juratowitch, author of Study: The Simple Facts, developed and delivers the Transitions Study Skills Seminar for students in Years 7 – 8. Michele has experience providing study skills programs for high-ability students through seminars, in schools, at university, through organisations and within her counselling practice.
